Semi-Lift. Rough Country provides a 2.5 in. Suspension Lift Kit that raises the front and rear of your 4WD RAM while still retaining a 1-inch factory rake in the rear to retain its great towing capabilities. The semi-lift gives your rig an intimidating look, while still having clearance for 33x12.5 inch tires and keeping a smooth factory-like ride quality. When towing is in progress, your truck looks level.

Quality Construction. Rough Country uses A36 steel for this Suspension Lift Kit to provide superior strength and durability, on and off the pavement. By the way, you’ll notice that tougher trails are easier to conquer with the increased ground clearance you get with the lift upgrade. The black powder coat finish gives a rugged appearance and protects against the elements.

Bolts On. The 2.5 in. Suspension Lift Kit includes all parts and hardware for an easier bolt-on installation. Rough Country designs the kit to re-use the factory coil spring, and the installation requires only simple hand tools.

Application. This 2.5 in. Suspension Lift Kit from Rough Country fits 2012 to 2018 4WD Dodge RAM 1500 Pickups with 35 in. x 12.5 in. tires with factory wheels, excluding for TRX models and models with factory air ride suspension.

    2 Top Rated Questions

In the description is says it will fit 33x12.5 tires but later says it will fit 35x12.5 tires with factory rims. Will this fit 35x12.5 tires on aftermarket rims that are 20x9 -12mm offset?

    • You can run up to a 33x12.50 with the Rough Country 2.5 in. Suspension Lift Kit on stock wheels, or 35x12.5 with aftermarket wheels with an appropriate offset, such as your 20x9" wheels with a -12mm offset.

Will lifting the front and changing to control arm/ball joint angle lead to faster wear on the ball joints?

    • While a lift can effect ball joint wear, the Rough Country 2.5 in. Suspension Lift Kit will have a minimal effect on ball joint wear.

Great Price for a Simple Upgrade

I purchased this product for my 16 Big Horn and am completely satisfied with the product. It brought the front end up to match the rear with little effort. I did the install in my driveway with hand tools and an older set of spring compressors. It does take a bit of "know how" to do the install but with a bit of research its completely do-able for a weekend wrench-turner. The front end takes a bit more time to do, and maybe an extra hand, but all-in-all it was completed in a couple hours. Tool wise, I strongly suggest getting a wrench specified for working with struts as it was not a hand tool listed in the "tool needed" section (18mm for my vehicle), but a strong impact gun may suffice.
