Premium Lift Upgrade. The Rough Country 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Choice of Nitrogen-Charged N3 Shocks or M1 Monotube Shocks is engineered to enhance the stance and capability of your vehicle by providing a bold 6-inch lift height. This kit is designed for off-road enthusiasts seeking superior ground clearance, improved ride quality, and an aggressive, level appearance. It supports the use of larger 33-inch tires while maintaining compatibility with factory 20-inch wheels, elevating both performance and aesthetics.
Construction and Appearance. Components are crafted from heavy-duty fabricated steel and precision laser-cut using advanced CAD technology to ensure an exact factory-style fit. Lift blocks and rear anti-axle wrap blocks are included to preserve factory ride comfort. All metal parts feature a durable black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and a rugged look that complements the vehicle’s design.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging, estimated to take approximately 8 to 10 hours. The process requires cutting and drilling, demanding some mechanical skill and proper tools to complete successfully. The kit includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions to facilitate installation.
Warranty. This lift kit is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, providing long-term assurance against manufacturing defects.
Application. Designed specifically for 2014-2018 4WD Silverado 1500 trucks equipped with stock cast steel control arms. This kit is not compatible with Denali or Denali Ultimate models due to Magnetic Ride Control, nor with models equipped with the eAssist hybrid package due to additional drivetrain components and sensor placement. For proper clearance, the mass damper on the front differential must be removed. Installation of larger tires requires a speedometer calibrator (SKU 90009), and a 0.25" wheel spacer (SKU 1065) may be necessary to retain factory wheels.
