Premium G3000-Grade Cast Iron Structure. For long-lasting durability, PowerStop constructed their Evolution rotors from G3000-grade iron castings. For a perfect fit, on the other hand, these rotors are mill-balanced. Mill-balancing also reduces braking noises, vibrations, and harshness or NVH. As a final touch, PowerStop chose a corrosion-resistant silver zinc dichromate plating.
Cross-Drilled, Slotted, and Vented Design. For better performance in every aspect, these rotors are vented, slotted, and cross-drilled. The vents and circular slots facilitate better heat dissipation, keeping the rotors operating on cooler temperatures. The precision-drilled holes, meanwhile, help channel away brake dust, gases, and water from the rotor surface. This gives the brake pad a cleaner surface to “bite.”
