It comes with a pair of heavy-duty mill-balanced rotors and carbon-ceramic brake pads, which offer up to 20% more braking power and a more consistent friction output. G3000-Grade Cast Iron Brake Rotors. Made from heavy-duty G3000-grade cast iron blanks, these PowerStop brake rotors are 100% mill-balanced for a perfect fit. They’re also much more long-lasting, designed to resist breaking, cracking, and rust and corrosion. What’s more, these durable rotors reduce braking noises, vibrations, and harshness, making them ideal for daily street driving and other non-aggressive applications.
Vented and Non-Directional Design. These PowerStop rear rotors have a vented and slotted design. The former helps maintain lower operating temperatures, while the latter keeps the debris and water away to keep the contact patch clean for a stronger pad bite. Meanwhile, the non-directional rotor surface helps even-out brake pad wear and also reduces vibrations and braking noises.
Carbon-Ceramic Brake Pad Compound. PowerStop used a carbon-ceramic compound for these Z16 Evolution series brake pads. These provide consistent braking power with virtually no fade, as well as quiet and smooth operation. They’re also more thermally stable. Finally, the powder-coated backing plate help prolong the brake pads’ service life and enhance their corrosion resistance.
Low Dust and Noise Output. These brake pads’ carbon-ceramic construction help reduce the amount of brake dust they produce. This results in a much cleaner rotor surface to offer more grip for the pads. Your wheels and tires will also stay in great shape for longer with less brake dust. Meanwhile, the chamfered and slotted face and rubberized shims keep braking noises at the minimum.
Direct-Fit Upgrades. These brake rotors and brake pads can be installed directly on your truck with no modifications needed. They reuse the stock hardware and require only basic hand tools and jack stands for an approximately 2-hour installation.
