Description

It serves as a direct replacement for OEM coils, boosting spark output by at least 15% to support better combustion and engine performance. This coil is ideal for upgrading ignition systems in compatible Ford vehicles, especially under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This ignition coil features an epoxy-molded internal design for superior shock and vibration resistance along with moisture protection. Its high-temperature boot maintains a secure seal, and it comes in a matte finish with plated copper terminals for excellent current conduction and durability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward as it fits factory mounting positions with an integrated bracket, requiring no drilling. It attaches directly to the coil-on-plug system without external resistors, ensuring an efficient upgrade process.
Warranty. The coil includes a limited 90-day warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
Application. This coil fits Ford F-150 models equipped with 4.6L 2-valve engines from 1997 through 2009 and 5.4L engines from 1997 through 2003. No exclusions are noted for these applications.
