Description
Optimize Turbocharger Performance. The Mishimoto Silver Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is the intercooler upgrade that effectively optimizes your Ford F-150 Ecoboost turbocharger’s performance. This intercooler is capable of quickly cooling air coming from the turbocharger by up to 50-degrees Fahrenheit, while increasing both air volume and airflow. This results in larger amounts of cold air being supplied into your engine, which in turn significantly improves power and torque.
Practical Design. The Mishimoto Silver Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping manages the rapid cooling of induced air through practical design. With this intercooler, core size is increased by 88%, external fin area is increased by 66%, and core volume by 40%. These characteristics all work to speed up cooling of induced air. The included air diversion plates re-direct air into the intercooler body more efficiently, while free-flowing aluminum intercooler pipes maximize airflow. Lastly, the silicone couplings come with patented DuraCore technology for extreme durability.
Rigid Aluminum Build Quality. The Mishimoto Silver Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping features an all-aluminum construction for rigidity as well as heat transfer qualities. The intercooler is TIG-welded, increasing structural integrity. CNC-milled, quick-disconnect flange and IAT sensor housing are built into 2 of the intercooler pipes for a precise fit. Lastly, the intercooler receives a silver finish that contrasts nicely with the black powder-coating on the intercooler pipes.
