No matter how efficiently your truck’s turbocharger works, if the intercooler is not up to par, your engine won’t be properly supplied with cold air. This intercooler upgrade is engineered to reduce intake air temperatures by up to 50-degrees Fahrenheit and increase both airflow and air volume. The result is more cold air supplied to your engine compared to the factory intercooler.
Efficient Design. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping manages to supply more cold air through an efficient design. This design offers an 88% increase in core size, a 40% increase in core volume, and a 66% increase in external fin surface area. Air diversion plates ensure your intercooler receives a consistent supply of air to ensure maximum cooling. Additionally, your stock cold and hot side intercooler pipes are replaced by more free-flowing aluminum pipes. Lastly, this intercooler uses patented DuraCore silicone couplers that are more resistant to damage than regular silicone couplers.
Heavy-Duty Aluminum Build Quality. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is manufactured from high-grade aluminum for excellent heat and corrosion resistance. The assembly is TIG-welded for superior rigidity. The quick-disconnect flange and IAT sensor housing are both CNC-milled for a precise fit. Finally, the intercooler and its aluminum pipes are finished in a durable black powder coat for added abrasion protection and a stealthy look.
