Shunting exhaust swiftly past its turbulence-free mandrel bends, this cat-back adds a mellow but commanding exhaust note to your machine. Reduced backpressure and rearward air suction boost the engine, adding more horsepower and torque at your command, while reducing breakdowns and making lubricants last longer. As an added bonus, most Silverados will also gain an increase in fuel economy.
Rugged and Long-Lived. The MBRP XP Series Split Side Exit 3-inch Cat-Back Exhaust is made for those who value ruggedness over pristine looks; the T-409 stainless discolors somewhat over time (though the tips, T-304, won't), but is basically proof against rust, explaining the part's lifetime warranty. The 3" mandrel-bent tubing has burly 16-gauge walls also, while key welds are reinforced. The system bolts on with simple hand tools to the factory mounting points (all hardware included). Depending on your cab and box configuration, some cutting to the piping may be required.
