Description
Rear Suspension Upgrade. The Max Trac 6in Rear Lowering Flip Kit is designed to lower the rear of your truck, improving stance and handling characteristics. It replaces factory components with specialized parts including axle relocators, spring plates, and bump stops to achieve a 6-inch drop while maintaining safe suspension geometry. This kit provides a reliable and quality rear lowering solution for your vehicle.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable steel, the kit components feature a grey powdercoat finish to resist corrosion and wear. This robust construction ensures long-lasting performance while maintaining a clean and professional appearance, ideal for serious automotive upgrades.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and specific complementary parts such as shock angle correctors and shorter shocks. Drilling is generally not required; however, a C-notch frame support is necessary for proper fitment and clearance.
Application. This kit fits 1999–2006 2WD Silverado 1500 trucks, excluding SS models, and also fits the 2007 Classic model. Proper installation requires the use of additional shock and frame support components as specified to ensure compatibility and safety.
