Backup Camera Integrated. The Master Tailgaters tailgate handle with backup reverse camera in black offers a combined tailgate handle and rearview camera solution for enhanced vehicle safety when reversing. It provides a reliable video feed to aid drivers in detecting obstacles behind the vehicle.
Construction and Features. This product features a durable tailgate handle finished in black and includes an IP68-rated waterproof backup camera. The camera uses a ¼” On-Semi CMOS sensor paired with a Nidec lens (glass and plastic), providing technical specifications of 0.1 lux minimum illumination, NTSC/PAL signal, 728 x 582 effective pixels, 600 TV lines resolution, and a 170-degree viewing angle.
Installation. Installation requires basic vehicle wiring knowledge but does not necessitate drilling. Depending on the monitor type, professional splicing may be required if the vehicle lacks an RCA video input. It is recommended to secure the camera with adhesive to prevent movement. The red wire along the RCA cable can be used as an alternate power supply.
Warranty. This product includes a 2-year no questions asked warranty, ensuring quality assurance.
