Description
Backup Camera Tailgate Handle. The Master Tailgaters Tailgate Handle with Backup Reverse Camera; Black/Chrome provides a practical upgrade to the rear of your truck by replacing the existing tailgate handle with a built-in backup camera. This product assists drivers in reversing maneuvers by providing a clear view behind the vehicle, increasing safety and convenience during parking or towing tasks.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with durable materials, the tailgate handle features a black housing with a chrome handle for a stylish yet rugged look. The camera employs a ¼” On-Semi CMOS sensor paired with a high-quality Nidec lens, ensuring reliable imaging performance even in low light conditions with a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux. The IP68 waterproof rating guarantees resilience against harsh weather and road elements.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, as the handle replaces the factory part directly. Electrical connections are made by tapping into any 12V power source, either constantly on or keyed to the reverse lights depending on user preference. Note that connector compatibility with factory radios may require an additional adapter (not included).
