Moreover, the included air filter delivers super-efficient filtration so the air your engine receives is truly contaminant-free.
No ECU Re-Tune Necessary. This cold air intake provides gains in performance via its unique free-flowing design without the need to re-tune your truck’s ECU. That said, providing your truck with an ECU re-tune in the future is always ideal as this will ensure your truck and this intake is fully maximized.
High-Flow Oiled Air Filter. This cold air intake features an oiled air filter designed to deliver superior air flow as well as exceptional filtering efficiency. Specifically, this filter utilizes multiple layers of oiled cotton gauze filter media capable of trapping virtually all contaminants from entering your vehicle. What’s more, this air filter won’t require cleaning till after 100,000 miles, making the component both convenient and economical.
Robust Build Quality. The cold air intake utilizes a roto-molded high-density polyethylene air inlet tube, making it robust, lightweight, and free from performance-robbing turbulence areas along its inner structure. Moreover, this assembly comes with a metal alloy air box equipped with a lid to provide the air filter with protection from engine bay heat.
