This is achieved via a specially designed free-flowing air inlet tube. Additionally, this intake comes with an efficient and high-flow air filter to ensure your engine is contaminant-free.
No ECU Re-Tune Necessary. This cold air intake’s free-flowing design does not require you to re-tune your truck’s ECU for you to experience its boost in performance. However, an ECU re-tune in the future will always be good for your truck as this will enable you to take advantage of your intakes potential.
High-Flow Oiled Air Filter. This cold air intake includes a high-flow oiled air filter that’s designed to provide maximum airflow while filtering out any contaminants. The secret is a unique red-colored filter media that features multiple layers of cotton gauze that requires cleaning only after 100,000 miles. Additionally, cleaning is accomplished using an appropriate filter cleaning kit before recharging with filter oil.
Sturdy Build Quality. The cold air intake features an inlet tube constructed from high-density polyethylene using a specialized roto-molding process. This produces a component with a turbulence-free inner structure that maximizes airflow. Likewise, this intake comes with an alloy heat shield to protect the air filter from damaging engine bay heat. Lastly, this intake features a black finish that adds a stylish look to your engine bay.
