Description
A Bumper Meant for Action. Though it’s the lightest duty bumper in the company’s lineup, the Iron Cross Base Front Bumper is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to front end protection for your 2009-2014 F-150 pickup, on the street or on the trail. Clean and crisp in appearance, with a shimmering textured black powder-coat for some extra eye candy, the bumper offers good clearance and puts a bit more than an eighth-inch of steel (10-gauge) between your truck and the rocks and branches of the trail. It’s also got a standard winch mount (accommodating up to a 12,500 lb winch), fairlead mount, and two heavy-duty D-ring mounts, too, so that you can snatch your truck out of the jaws of deep mud-holes or other difficult ground along the trail.
Supports 2 Auxiliary Lights. The Iron Cross Base Front Bumper supports the mounting of two aftermarket lights of 4” diameter in recessed, highly protected housings made from welded plate steel. The lights are not included with the bumper, but must be bought separately. Please note that the housings do not fit the OE fog lights, which cannot be reused with this bumper.
Designed for Strength and Weight Savings. A sinewy, all-welded, one-piece design, the Iron Cross Base Front Bumper is also built for relatively light weight. The 10-gauge steel balances toughness with preventing suspension fatigue that some truly massive bumpers can inflict. This all-American bumper is supported on 1/4” brackets, features welded D-ring mounts, and is finished with a chip-resistant black powder-coat.
Install Free of Drilling, Cutting. Bolt-on installation with hand tools is the installation procedure you can expect to use for your Iron Cross Base Front Bumper. The hardware and brackets needed for fitment are supplied along with the component. It attaches to the stock mounting points and is easily installed by those with little automotive experience (though a helper to hold up the bumper may be useful).
4-Month Warranty. A four-month limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in craftsmanship and materials applies to the Iron Cross Base Front Bumper.
Application. The Base Front Bumper from Iron Cross is perfectly designed for the 2009-2014 Ford F-150s, excluding SVT Raptors.
