Description
Added GPS Function. Take advantage of your Ford Sync 3 system with the Infotainment Sync 3 GPS Navigation Upgrade. This device will upgrade your system with embedded GPS function via a Sync 3 APIM module that installs into the back of your system’s touchscreen. This allows you to take full advantage of Sync 3’s efficient GPS navigation feature. What’s more, this APIM module upgrade retains all the functions currently programmed on your device so you don’t have to worry about losing any features you’ve come to enjoy.
Rugged Construction. This APIM module upgrade features a machine-formed housing made of high-grade alloy designed to keep its internals protected from vibration. This module also features all the standard connectors as the one it replaces. Moreover, this device features a tough zinc-plated finish for corrosion protection.
Easy Install Procedure. This Sync 3 GPS module is designed to replace the non-GPS APIM module installed on the back of your system’s touchscreen. No modifications to your current setup are needed. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
Comes with a 90-Day Limited Warranty. This Sync 3 GPS upgrade module comes with a 90-day limited warranty covering factory defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s site for more details.
Application. This Infotainment Sync 3 GPS Navigation Upgrade fits all 2017 to 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty models.
Application Note. While this new APIM module will retain your current Sync 3 setup, you may have to pair your smartphone again after installation.
Important Notes.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's factory installed SiriusXM satellite radio. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's SiriusXM Satellite Radio Kit.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing steering wheel mounted audio controls.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing back-up rear view camera. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's Ford SuperDuty Tailgate Handle Backup Camera.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing Sync bluetooth hands-free calling feature. Simply pair your phone to the new system.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing steering wheel mounted audio controls.
