With the MyLink Upgrade on your truck, you can enjoy seamless connectivity with your mobile devices while also taking advantage of your vehicle’s factory automated features.
Full Apple Car Play and Android Auto Support. You can now hookup your favorite mobile device with this MyLink Upgrade with its full Apple Car Play and Android Auto support. This lets you take advantage of iO6’s integrated mapping that covers the entire USA, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. This feature also lets you use a texting feature and the latest Siri Eyes Free application.
Pre-Programmed Features. To help you set up this MyLink Upgrade more easily, it features preprogrammed settings to readily work with most of your vehicle’s factory applications. This includes the SiriusXM satellite radio, factory steering wheel mounted audio controls, back-up rear-view camera, and Bluetooth hands-free calling settings.
Quick and Easy to Install. This MyLink Upgrade is simple to set up. It comes with a plug-n-play design so you can install it without the need for special tools or any modifications.
Backed by a 1-Year Extended Warranty. Infotainment backs the MyLink Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Upgrade with an extended warranty against electrical and mechanical breakdowns for 1 year from the purchase date. Application. This Infotainment MyLink Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Upgrade is designed to be used on all the 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models with 4-inch screens.
Important Notes.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing MyLink bluetooth hands-free calling feature.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing steering wheel mounted audio controls. Within the Apple CarPlay mode, your phone must be paired to the system via bluetooth for the steering wheel controls to work. Within the Android Auto mode, you must control all features using the radio hard keys as opposed to the steering wheel controls.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing back-up rear view camera. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's TailGate Handle Backup Camera.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing SiriusXM satellite radio. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's Magnetic SiriusXM Antenna.
