Description
Comprehensive Underside Protection. The Full Skid Plate Kit is designed to shield the critical components of your truck's underside, including the engine, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank. It provides reliable protection for 4WD trucks that came with or without factory skids, ensuring durability and off-road readiness.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 11-gauge high strength steel, the skid plates are laser cut, CNC formed, and precision TIG welded for maximum strength and a clean appearance. The black two-stage semi-gloss powder coat finish offers excellent resistance to corrosion and wear, maintaining the skid plates' integrity under harsh conditions.
Installation. The bolt-in design allows straightforward installation using simple hand tools without vehicle modification. Slotted mounting holes facilitate easy removal for maintenance, enhancing convenience without compromising protection.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty, assuring long-term reliability and customer confidence.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2015-2022 Ford F-150 and 2017-2020 Raptor models. Note that it is not compatible with 2021-2022 F-150 Powerboost models. Trucks without stock skids require new OE fuel tank straps from an FX4 with skid mounting studs to install the fuel tank skid. Stock air dam removal is required for engine skid installation. May not be compatible with 4-inch or larger lift kits or aftermarket bumpers with integrated skid protection.
