The Gen-Y Hitch 2.50-Inch Receiver Hitch Stabilizer Bars address these issues by providing your drop hitch with the stability it needs. The secret is a system of heavy-grade brackets and arms that act as buttresses, making your hitch quite rigid. With these bars installed on your hitch, you can now use your drop hitch with confidence.
Heavy-Grade Build Quality. Each component of the Gen-Y Hitch 2.50-Inch Receiver Stabilizer Bars is constructed from high-grade steel for exceptional strength. What’s more, each bar’s length can be adjusted from 24 to 33 inches, enabling you to outfit your truck with differently sized drop hitches. Finally, the included brackets are finished in a tough black powder coating for excellent corrosion protection.
Straight install Procedure. These Gen-Y Hitch Stabilizer Bars mount onto your truck’s hitch rails using the included brackets. You can either brackets can either bolt or weld these brackets onto your truck. When bolting-on you will need 0.5-inch bolts and minor drilling. If you choose to weld the brackets, however, you may want to consider professional installation especially if you’re not experienced with welding.
