Description
Turbocharger Upgrade. The Garrett Formline Stage 1 Turbo Kit is engineered to improve the performance of the 2011-2012 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost engines by delivering significant increases in horsepower and torque. This comprehensive kit simplifies the turbo upgrade process by providing all necessary components to replace and enhance the OEM turbochargers reliably and efficiently.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features stainless steel turbo manifolds that resist warping and improve flow, paired with Garrett PowerMax™ turbos designed for OEM-like integration, maintaining stock appearance and location. High-quality AN fittings and A286 Inconel Alloy hardware offer excellent resistance to heat and corrosion for long-term durability.
Installation. Installation involves a straightforward remove-and-replace process that requires no fabrication or additional modifications. While the hardware and fittings are designed for direct fitment, a custom tune is recommended to achieve optimal performance and reliability. It is suggested to use penetrating oil to ease removal of old turbo components and apply high-temp anti-seize on threaded surfaces during assembly for longevity.
Warranty. This turbo kit is backed by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, providing added confidence in its quality and performance.
