Description
Crucial Safety Component. This Ford Rear Parking Sensor is used with the backup camera, your Ford’s Parking Assist System, and the Pro Trailer Backup Assist System, if your F-Series truck is so equipped. There are 4 of these sensors mounted in the rear bumper, and 1 mounted in the driver-side front fender. Damage to any of these locations may cause one or more of these sensors to fail. All sensors must be working for your Parking Assist System to function properly.
Genuine Ford Part. There are times when cheaper aftermarket car parts can make sense, but when your truck is parking itself, the sensors that determine distances from your truck to a solid object are pieces of the system that you want to work properly. If your Parking or Trailer Backup Assist Systems are not functioning, one of these Ford Rear Parking Sensors could be the part you need.
