Performance Chambered Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch Inlet and 2.25-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive exhaust sound ideal for street and strip applications. It is engineered with Delta Flow® technology to optimize exhaust flow and enhance performance, especially on forced induction and high horsepower engines, while providing a deep, powerful tone.

Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel for long-lasting strength. It features a black high-temperature paint finish that offers corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance, along with fully MIG welded seams for maximum durability and structural integrity.

Installation. The muffler uses slip-fit connections on both inlet and outlet for straightforward clamp-on or weld-on attachment. New hangers are required but not included. Some adaptation may be necessary for a proper fit due to its universal design.

Application. This muffler is designed for universal fitment across various vehicle types including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip, and trucks or SUVs. Minor modification may be required to ensure perfect fitment.
