Performance Race Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Center/Center Race Muffler with 3.50-inch inlet and 3.50-inch outlet is designed to deliver an aggressive sound and excellent power characteristics ideal for racing applications. It significantly reduces decibel levels compared to open headers, making it essential for race vehicles where muffler use is required for sound control.

Construction and Appearance. This muffler features a durable, fully welded 16-gauge 409 stainless steel body constructed with Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology. It includes a high-temperature black paint finish for enhanced heat resistance and a sleek look, with a chambered oval shape that optimizes exhaust flow and sound quality.

Installation. Installation requires some adaptation as this is a universal fitment muffler and is not a direct bolt-on replacement. The muffler uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections and can be secured with clamp-on or weld-on methods. Note that new hangers are necessary but not included.

Application. Designed for universal applications, some adaptation may be required for proper installation on classic muscle cars, late model muscle cars, race vehicles, and street/strip use. This muffler is not reversible and does not include clamps or hangers.
