Description
Aggressive Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/3-Inch Outlet delivers enhanced exhaust flow and an aggressive sound ideal for street and strip use. It utilizes Delta Flow technology to improve scavenging for better performance while maintaining a reduced interior noise level.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features durable, fully MIG welded construction for long-lasting reliability. It is finished with high-temperature black paint to resist heat and corrosion, combining toughness with a sleek look.
Installation. Designed for universal fitment with a slip-fit inlet and outlet, this muffler installation requires no special tools or drilling but may need adaptation depending on the vehicle setup. New hangers are necessary but not included.
Application. Fits a wide range of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs; universal application with some adaptation may be required.
