Performance Muffler Design. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to provide an aggressive sound with improved exhaust scavenging. It is ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications where enhanced exhaust flow and reduced interior resonance are desired.

Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and features full MIG welding for maximum longevity. It has a high-temperature black painted finish that offers corrosion resistance and a sleek aesthetic suitable for performance vehicles.

Installation. The muffler fits with slip-fit connections for both inlet and outlet, requiring no welding or drilling in most cases. It uses new hangers which are not included, so minor adaptation may be necessary to secure it properly.

Application. Designed for universal fitment, this muffler is compatible with a wide range of 4 and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, trucks, and SUVs. Some adaptation may be required during installation. It is not reversible and does not include clamps or hangers.
