Description
Performance Muffler Solution. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.50-inch inlet and outlet diameter delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust note with reduced interior resonance. Designed to enhance the sound and performance of high horsepower vehicles, this muffler is ideal for both street and strip applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16-gauge aluminized steel, the muffler is fully MIG welded for durability and longevity. It features a high-temperature paint finish that provides corrosion resistance and a sleek black appearance.
Installation. Installation requires basic exhaust skills with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on attachment. Typically, no drilling is necessary; however, the use of new hangers is required but not included.
Application. This muffler has a universal fitment and may need some adaptation to fit various vehicles. It is compatible with a wide range of vehicle types including muscle cars, street rods, trucks, and SUVs, covering both classic and late model applications.
