This is because this system uses a race car style muffler rather than an oversized factory option.
Power as well as Sound. There is more to the Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips than a pretty noise, though. You also get some of the power back that a factory exhaust system strangles out. This means that you get to use more horsepower, more torque, and less fuel consumption than you normally would with a factory system.
Ceramic Tips. The tips to this exhaust system are stainless steel coated with a ceramic black. The tubing itself is also stainless steel, allowing you to rest easy knowing it won't take any damage anytime soon. In fact, even the toxic gases running through the system allow for an easy mind since stainless steel doesn't corrode either.
Bolt-On Installation. The Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust System with Black Tips is made to give you an easy installment. Since it is a direct upgrade, it will allow your new system to bolt-on directly in the same place as your old system. This requires no trimming and includes everything you need to get the system installed.
Application. This Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust System with Black Tips is designed to fit all cab and bed sizes available for the 2011 to 2014 F-150s equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine.
