Description
Performance Upgrade. The Flowmaster Turbo Down-Pipe replaces the factory restrictive downpipe with a larger, 4.00-inch mandrel-bent pipe designed to optimize exhaust flow. It enhances engine efficiency by increasing power, torque, throttle response, and fuel mileage potential, making it an essential upgrade for maximizing the 7.3L Powerstroke engine’s performance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this downpipe features a matte finish that helps resist heat buildup and corrosion. The mandrel-bent tubing maintains a consistent diameter throughout the pipe, providing a smooth and unrestricted exhaust path.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a direct-fit V-band connection to the turbo flange, ensuring a secure seal without the need for drilling or major modifications. This allows for quick replacement of the factory downpipe.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1999-2003 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel turbo engine.
