Description
Aggressive Sound. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Oval Muffler offers a massive improvement on the old, two-chamber mufflers by increasing airflow significantly. Dyno tested, the Flowmaster Super 40 Series muffler is the ideal modification to increase power and performance. Flowmaster has taken all the excellent features of their 40 Series mufflers and kicked them up a notch for the Super 40 Series, adding innovative Delta Flow technology that is modeled off of Flowmaster’s famous race mufflers.
Superior Design. This Super 40 Series Oval Muffler is MIG welded from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel for durability and value. Super 40 Series Mufflers feature Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology to increase power and sound with low interior resonance. Each muffler is embossed with the "Flowmaster" name so you know it is the real article.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on multiple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system may be required.
Application. This Flowmaster Super 40 Series Muffler's outer case measures 5" x 10" x 13.5", and features a 2.25-inch diameter center inlet and center outlet configuration. This is the perfect muffler for all 1997-2024 Ford F-150 models.
