Description
Give Your Silverado Some Bark. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset In/Offset Out Oval Muffler is engineered to improve the sound of your Silverado over the subtle factory exhaust note. Whether at idle or at wide open throttle, this muffler will give it the aggressiveness you're looking for while also improving performance and fuel economy.
Enhanced Power and Sound. Flowmaster utilizes Delta Flow Technology to improve the exhaust flow over the restrictive baffle design of the factory muffler. This improves fuel efficiency and opens up more horsepower. Noise is attenuated with a 2 chamber design and 3 Delta Deflectors that are welded in place to give a consistent tone no matter how many miles are driven. Competitors use packing which can degrade and blow out over time resulting in changes to volume and tone.
Solid Construction. Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers are made from tough 16 gauge aluminized steel that is finished in satin black. All parts from the exterior to the Delta Deflectors and chamber partitions inside the muffler are fully MIG welded for years of durability.
Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Warranty Coverage. Flowmaster guarantees their 40 Series Delta Flow mufflers for 3 years from the date of purchase. For more details, please consult Flowmaster.
