Direct Installation. Installing an add-a-leaf spring works similarly to installing a regular spring. You’re basically adding an extra layer of support to your vehicle’s OEM spring, increasing its strength in the process. As such, installation is direct and requires no welding or cutting.

Variable Warranty. Fabtech offers a variable warranty that expires after either 5 years or 60,000 miles of driving. This is a limited warranty that guards against defects in manufacturing and materials. It does not apply to any damage caused to the parts during installation or through misuse, such as loading your vehicle beyond its carrying capacity.

Application. The F-250 Super Duty Rear Add-A-Leaf Spring is designed for use solely with the 2017-2022 models of Ford’s F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty trucks. The kit is not compatible with Tremor off-road packages.

Installation Difficulty. Though installation is direct, you may still require the help of a professional if you don’t have the advanced mechanical knowledge needed to work with your vehicle’s suspension. The part takes 1-2 hours to install, which includes gaining access to your vehicle’s springs.
