Description
Superior Ball Joint Performance. The TTX Front Upper Ball Joint is engineered to deliver durable and reliable performance for heavy-duty vehicles. It serves as a vital suspension component, connecting the steering knuckle to the control arms, allowing smooth and precise steering control. This ensures suspension integrity and optimal vehicle handling under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a press-in mounting design with a patented sintered metal bearing, this ball joint provides enhanced toughness and longevity. It is protected by a neoprene dust boot secured with a patented sealing ring that permanently locks out contaminants. The assembly is pre-greased and includes both 180- and 90-degree SAE grease fittings for easy servicing. The finish includes a thicker, stronger flange and knurling to resist corrosion and deformation, ensuring an accurate and secure fit.
Installation. Installation is simplified with the inclusion of a custom-designed adapter ring, a part-specific slotted castle nut, and an easy snap cotter pin. The ball joint is designed for direct press-fit installation without the need for additional drilling or modifications, streamlining the replacement process.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2011 through 2026 4WD F-250 Super Duty trucks, ensuring precise compatibility with factory specifications for optimal performance.
