The Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Sheet; 24-Inch x 150-Foot addresses heat soak into critical automotive components such as air boxes, seats, firewalls, transmission tunnels, and intakes. It is an adhesive heat shield designed to protect these areas from extreme temperature swings, enhancing vehicle performance and safety.
Construction and Appearance. This heat shield features a metalized polyimide film laminated to lightweight glass fiber cloth, combined with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive. It has a thin profile of 0.0065 inches and a metallic gold finish that offers durability and resistance against UV degradation, ensuring long-term effectiveness in harsh environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and user-friendly with the included pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds securely without lifting. No drilling or specialized tools are required, enabling quick and clean application on various vehicle surfaces.
