Description
Easy Lighting Install Solution. This Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit is the lighting harness and switch kit designed to make your installation job much easier. Specifically, this kit includes a loomed harness with built-in fuses and relay as well as an illuminated factory-style light switch. Together, these components let you connect your auxiliary or backup lights directly to your battery without the need for complicated splicing. In doing so, you're able to activate your lights without the need to start up your truck. What's more, this kit permits you to connect your new lights to your factory reverse lights so these are activated when you put your gear in reverse.
Resilient Build Quality. This kit comes with a harness equipped with heavy gauge wiring and factory-style connectors molded from automotive-grade plastic, ensuring consistent illumination. The harness is also equipped with fuses and a relay built into its structure to provide excellent lighting performance and safety. Similarly, the included light switch is injection-molded from automotive-grade plastic and includes an LED light chip, keeping the assembly visible in the dark. Rounding out its construction is a resilient wiring loom to keep the harness protected from the elements.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This backup and auxiliary lighting and switch kit is designed to install into your truck using factory locations without the need for cutting or splicing its wires. That said, you might need to drill through the firewall to run the harness into the back of your truck. A grommet is included though for use on the drilled-out hole. Moreover, you may need to use a pigtail connector in certain applications.
Application. The Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit fits all GMC Sierra 1500 models.
