Description
Lightweight Thermal Insulator. The Dynamat DynaLiner Lightweight Thermal Insulator; 1/4-Inch is designed to effectively reduce heat transfer in automotive applications. It is ideal for use on floors, roofs, underhood areas, and fiberglass enclosures, enhancing comfort and protecting vehicle interiors from heat. This product is a valuable addition on top of existing sound deadening like Dynamat Xtreme, providing enhanced thermal insulation.
Construction and Appearance. This insulator is made from soft, self-adhesive closed cell rubber featuring thousands of tightly packed cells that minimize air infiltration. It is resistant to oil and water and does not retain moisture, preventing rust and mildew. The material is crush and tear resistant, ensuring long-lasting durability. The sheet has a rubbery texture with a matte finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward due to the self-adhesive backing, requiring no drilling or special tools. It can be easily cut to shape and applied to various surfaces within the vehicle for effective insulation.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to accommodate different vehicle spaces and configurations.
