Versatile Hitch Skid Protection. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate in raw finish is engineered to protect your vehicle’s 2” hitch receiver from damage caused by rocks and harsh trail conditions. It serves as both a durable skid plate and a reliable recovery point, ensuring your hitch is safeguarded while providing utility in off-road recovery situations.
Construction and Appearance. Made from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this skid plate features a single-piece design for maximum strength and durability. Its raw finish offers a rugged aesthetic, and the skid plate pad is replaceable with an upgrade option to a more protective aluminum pad.
Installation. The skid plate installs easily onto standard 2” hitch receivers using a ?” pin and does not require drilling, making it a simple upgrade for off-road enthusiasts.
Warranty. This product comes with a one-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and material from the date of purchase.
Application. Designed to fit most 2” hitch receivers; however, some adaptation may be necessary due to hitch gussets or other obstructions. This skid plate is incompatible with 2.5” hitch receivers and specific OEM hitches such as the 2016-2023 Tacoma OEM hitch.
