Hey, what's going on, guys? Adam here with AmericanMuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you a detailed review of the Chrome LED Tail Lights, fitting all '09 to '14 F-150s. So if you're the owner of an '09 to '14 F-150, and you're looking to switch up the rear end of your truck by giving it a flashy, eye-catching appearance of an aftermarket tail light, you might be interested in the Chrome LED Tail Lights I have here today. Now, we all know switching up the look of your F-150 can be as simple as adding a new set of aftermarket tail lights. In this case, you're getting a set of chrome housing and clear lenses. Now, if you're not interested in that look, there are other options on americanmuscle.com such as the smoked, the red smoked, red clear, black, and black smoked. There definitely are enough options to fit different preferences and whatever style you may have. This is gonna be for the truck owner looking to get the flashy, eye-catching, show car chrome appearance while upgrading the halogen lighting to a set of LEDs. If that's the case that you're looking for, then you might be interested in the Chrome LED options I have on the table today. So with this, you're not only replacing the lenses, but you're completely replacing your factory housing and your halogen bulbs with a new housing and a new LED, more modern, brighter, better visibility, and overall appearing lighting system. Now, with that said, they will shine through even the darkest of housing, which you don't have to worry about with this option, because there's definitely nothing dark about it. You're getting all the chrome in the world with the chrome housing and the clear lenses, giving you that really bright show car appearance. Now, the chrome options and all the other options I've mentioned today will pretty much keep the same design and housing structure across the board. The electronics and lighting will stay the same, offering the brighter overall better LED option for a longer lasting lifetime. As we all know, the LEDs do last longer than your factory halogen bulbs. Now, speaking of the housing, you'll notice there are 2 LED banks on top of each other offering 12 LED lights apiece for a total of 24, giving you maximum visibility. In between the LED banks, you'll see there's the white reverse light that'll utilize your white reverse light bulb that comes in your factory housing. The rest of the housing offers reflectors just like your stock OEM housing would but obviously with the styling and appearance option of your choice in the housing. Now, in the back of the LED tail lights, you'll see that they utilize a very easy, direct, plug-and-play connection that will hook up painlessly to your factory wiring harness. Now, they also have resistors already installed, so you don't have to worry about going out and buying those separately to make sure it gets the correct power to your LED lights. Now, I do wanna point out, in addition to the six options I've talked about today, there are other aftermarket tail lights available on the market. For a set of these, you can expect to be spending just around $300, but for about $80 more, you can pick up a set of name brand aftermarket LED lights like Recon and get the trusted name brand there. Now, I do say that these do feel like an OEM set. They do hook up painlessly, have a very reasonable cost and a very simple installation, so I can definitely tell you you are getting a lot of bang for your buck here. Now, the installation, like I mentioned, will be extremely painless, something that is very straightforward that you can get done in a little bit of time in your driveway. Now, the only tools you're gonna need are a ratchet and an 8-millimeter socket. Now, once you get your tools handy, you can start by dropping the tailgate and removing the two 8-millimeter bolts that hold on your factory housing. Once you get the bolts off, you can remove the factory housing by pulling it away from your vehicle and placing them aside. Once you get your factory housing set aside, pick up your aftermarket set and test the connections by plugging them into the vehicle's wiring harness, turning your lights on, and making sure all the LEDs are working properly. Now, once you make sure all the LEDs are working properly, take the white reverse lights out of your factory housing and put them into your aftermarket set, pop them back into the vehicle, and reinstall those two 8-millimeter bolts. Shut the tailgate, and you're good to go. Overall, from start to finish, you're looking at spending about a half hour or so on the install, so I definitely give this a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, making it something anybody can do in their driveway with a little bit of time. Now, just to quickly wrap things up, guys, if you're the owner of an '09 to '14 F-150, and you're looking to completely switch up the rear end look of your truck by giving it a flashy, eye-catching, show car chrome appearance, you might be interested in the Chrome LED options I have here today available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
