I just bought this set of headlight assemblies for my 02 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson pickup, and was wondering what the extra wiring that is needed for the lights, can you please help me?

        • The extra wiring is for the LED accents that are built into the lights. These wires would just be spliced in to your running lights.

Does this utilize the factory alignment and locking bolts? Will they work with 5000K LED replacement bulbs? (I've replaced all OEM light bulbs with LEDs without any modifications.)

        • These lights are going to come with new alignment bolts built in which would work with the stock system. These also would support LED replacement bulbs instead of halogen bulbs.

Could I use a HID conversion kit with these headlight??

        • These headlights were not designed to be used with HID lights however, they could be used if the bulb socket was the same. We must insist on being very cautious as HID operate at a high temperature and it could cause damage to the headlight housing.

The product looks nice but what I really need is brightness, my old lights are so dull that I can hardly tell there on. What is the illumination of this product, is there a rating? Thanks. John

        • The chrome housing and clear lenses are going to allow the lights to shine much brighter than stock. These headlights do reuse the stock bulbs, but they can also be changed out. We do not have a rating for these headlights since they reuse the stock bulbs.

            Makes my truck look amazing!

Pros: For a fair price, these headlights were a great way to make my 1997 F-150 look a lot newer. Installing was easy and only required a few butt connectors and wire caps. The LED strips connected to my parking lights and work flawlessly. Cons: It is very difficult it is to adjust the headlights. Given that I don't have Ford's special tool for rear mounted adjusters, I had to use a vice grip to hold that sucker and spent an hour cranking down all 6 adjusting points. Also, the fitment is less than perfect and I had to have someone push with all their might while I locked down the tabs to secure the lights. There are small gaps on the sides of the headlights closest to the grille, but they are not too terribly larger than usual. Overall a great product. Recommend to anyone willing to put forth effort, but plan to take all morning or evening and plan to have a helper.

You get what you pay for

If looks were the only thing that mattered it would be 5 stars (from a distance). With my led bulbs it is definitely brighter but the biggest negative would be a lousy fit. The gaps are not only too large it’s impossible to make them even all around. If they weren’t on my work truck it would not have been acceptable.

            Nice looking lights, but

Well , there definitely very nice looking lights, but there’s no way that they would, or could ever fit on my truck, they are nowhere near the size of the headlight assemblies on the truck, these are only 18” long , the stock headlight assemblies for the truck are 19 1/2”, this would have looked really ugly. I don’t know how they thought that they would have fit on a 2002 Ford pickup.

            Overall Acceptable

I had the lights professionally installed by a long time and reputable shop I have done business with for many years. Installer told me the lights were not well designed and did not have capacity to be adjusted as much as he thought they should. He also indicated that they did not have a good fit which is apparent because I can see the gap to the interior seam. The light beam is much wider than OEM light which is a good attribute. The lights look good and the running lights are an excellent safety feature. I cannot rate longevity because I have only had the lights in my truck for a week.

            Fitment Fail

After 2 hours of adjustments, trying to get light tight into the opening, I gave up and said it's a truck. Overall look is good, had to change bulbs to a brighter white to match LEDs.
