Description
Superior Backup Camera System. The Backup Camera Kit with OnStar Video Mirror provides an integrated rearview camera solution that activates automatically when shifting into reverse. Construction and Appearance. This system features a premium Super CMOS camera mounted in an OEM-grade GM bezel, ensuring a factory-like fit and finish. The OnStar auto-dimming mirror includes a discreet 4.3" video display that remains hidden until activated, maintaining the vehicle's original aesthetics without compromise.
Installation. Installation is designed for ease with a 25-foot pre-loomed wiring harness that allows quick tailgate disconnect near the spare tire area. While the harness facilitates disconnection, power, ground, and reverse signal connections must be located and made.
Warranty. The camera component carries a 3-year warranty while the mirror has a 1-year warranty, providing assurance of quality and durability.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2007-2013 Silverado 1500 models that do not have a mirror-mounted passenger airbag indicator light, ensuring compatibility with these vehicle configurations.
