Description
Street-Smart Style and Performance. If going low is your thing, you need Belltech’s Lowering Kit with Street Performance Shocks; 2 to 4-Inch Front / 6-Inch Rear. This lowering kit is capable of lowering your rear by 6 inches at the rear and 2 to 4 inches on the front to give your truck a bolder, more aggressive street-smart look. This lowered stance also helps improve your truck’s handling feel and cornering stability thanks to a lowered center of gravity.
Front Street Performance Adjustable Struts. This lowering kit replaces your factory front struts with a pair of front Street Performance lowering struts. These struts utilize a gas-charged twin-tube design to provide your truck with near-immediate damping when driven hard and factory ride quality when cruising. Meanwhile, these front struts can be adjusted by 0.5-inch increments to lower your front by 2 to 4 inches to give you the ride height you need. Moreover, these front struts feature 0.60-inch chrome-hardened piston rods, 2-inch wide shock bodies, as well as metal dust boots, all of which make these components extremely tough.
Rear Street Performance Shocks. Providing you with superior damping performance for the rear is a pair of rear Street Performance lowered shocks. These rear shocks also feature a gas-charged twin-tube design and are tuned to perform harmoniously with the rest of this kit’s rear lowering components. This ensures your truck maintains a near factory ride quality and handling. Similar to the struts, these shocks utilize feature 0.60-inch chrome-hardened piston rods, 2-inch wide shock bodies as well as metal dust boots for superior durability.
Robust Front Lowering Spindles. This kit also includes a pair of front lowering spindles designed to lower your front end by 2 inches while maintaining proper steering geometry. This is achieved by relocating the spindle pin higher on the casting, making sure driving feel is maintained. Additionally, these spindles are CNC machined from robust ductile iron for maximum strength and long-lasting performance.
Rear Flip Kit. Providing this kit with its 6-inch drop is a high-quality rear flip kit. This kit features all the components necessary to flip your axle over your leaf springs without compromising handling and stability. Included in this kit are a pair of C-notches, C-notch stiffening plates, an axle saddle, U-bolt plates, and a transmission spacer. What’s more, this kit also features a pair of polymer bump stops that helps maintain a smooth ride.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this kit will require cutting and drilling, as well as advanced mechanical knowledge. You will also need a complete set of mechanic’s tools and a spring compressor to relocate the front springs onto the new lowered struts. If you are not experienced with this type of install, professional installation is recommended.
