Sporty Street Style and Handling. Improve your style and handling for the street with this Lowering Kit; 3 to 4-Inch Front / 7-Inch Rear by Belltech. This kit lowers your Silverado’s ride height by 3 to 4 inches at the front and 7 inches at the rear. This gives your truck a sporty leveled stance that’s all about the streets. This lowered and leveled stance also gives your truck a low center of gravity to improve its handling feel, particularly when cornering.
Hefty Front Lowering Springs with Spring Distance Spacers. This kit utilizes a combination of lowering springs and spring distance spacers to reduce your truck’s front ride height. Specifically, the included spacers are designed to offer 0.50 inches of incremental ride height to lower your front by 3 to 4 inches when used with the springs. The springs themselves are machine-formed from high-grade spring steel and are coated in a protective finish for long-lasting performance.
Heavy-Duty Front Drop Spindles. To ensure your truck maintains a proper steering feel, this kit also features a pair of front drop spindles. These spindles compensate for the lowered height, ensuring proper steering geometry is maintained. What’s more, these spindles are machine formed from heavy-duty ductile iron for superior durability.
Rear Flip Kit. Taking care of the 7-inch rear drop is a complete rear flip kit. This flip kit includes all the parts needed to relocate your axle over your rear leaf springs including a pair of rear leaf hangers, axle saddles, and a transmission spacer. This kit also includes a pair of bump stops that help keep your ride quality at near factory levels.
Straightforward Install Procedure. Installing this lowering kit will involve trimming and cutting of certain components on your truck. You will also need to have a complete set of mechanic’s tools on hand as well as advanced mechanical knowledge and skills to ensure an efficient installation. That said, installation is a relatively straightforward procedure since the kit’s components will mount onto factory locations.
