Description
Performance Upgrade. The BDS Tubular Front Upper Control Arms for 2 to 6.5-Inch Lift increase suspension travel and durability on 2014-2018 Silverado, Sierra 1500, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Yukon XL models. They are designed for vehicles with stock aluminum or stamped steel control arms and support leveled and lifted setups while ensuring smooth, quiet operation.
Construction and Appearance. Made from high-strength 1.5-inch outer diameter by .120-wall steel tubing, these control arms offer superior strength compared to stock units. They feature an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning and use factory-style rubber bushings for quiet, maintenance-free operation. The assembly includes premium greaseable ball joints with protective caps to prevent debris intrusion, maximizing longevity.
Installation. Installation typically takes 2 to 3 hours. These control arms come fully assembled and fit using existing mounting points.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2007 to 2018 Silverado 1500 trucks equipped with stock aluminum or stamped steel control arms. Not suitable for models with OE cast steel arms or Magneride suspension systems.
