Description
Premium Suspension Upgrade. The BDS 2-Inch FOX 2.0 Coil-Over Suspension Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks enhances the stance, ride quality, and off-road capability of 2007-2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks. This kit is designed to provide a 2-inch front leveling lift while retaining the stock rear height, enabling clearance for larger tires up to 33 inches with possible trimming or modifications. It is ideal for enthusiasts looking to improve vehicle aesthetics and functionality.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 6061 T6 extruded and machined aluminum, the FOX 2.0 coilover shocks feature an internal floating piston to prevent oil aeration and a 5/8-inch hard-chrome-plated heat-treated alloy shaft to ensure durability and heat dissipation. The upper control arms utilize heavy-duty 1.5-inch diameter tubular steel with 0.120-inch walls, complemented by maintenance-free rubber bushings and greaseable ball joints. All components feature a black powder coat finish with billet aluminum dust caps to provide corrosion resistance and a clean appearance.
Installation. Installation of this leveling kit is moderately challenging, requiring approximately 3 to 4 hours. The kit offers 100% bolt-on installation, but welding equipment is necessary for specific components such as steering stops when installing larger tires or performing recommended modifications.
Warranty. This suspension kit includes a Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty for added customer assurance.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 07-18 4WD Sierra 1500 models equipped with stock cast steel control arms and excludes the 14-18 Denali models. Note that installation with 33x12.50 tires requires additional steering stop welds and inner fender well modifications for proper clearance.
