The BDS Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks improves handling on 1999-2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks by reducing steering wheel feedback, bump steer, and shimmy caused by larger tires and rough terrain. It is designed to enhance vehicle control and extend the lifespan of factory steering components, making it essential for those upgrading their suspension and tire setup.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features heavy-duty gusseted mounting brackets made from steel for durability and strength. The shock bodies are 2-inch, one-piece units made from impact-extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum, providing rust resistance. The shafts are crafted from 5/8-inch hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel and incorporate a race-developed high-flow piston design to ensure optimal performance under extreme conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with bolt-on mounting brackets that do not typically require drilling, allowing for a hassle-free upgrade to your vehicle’s steering system.
Application. Designed specifically for the 99-04 4WD Ford F-250 Super Duty equipped with the stock differential cover, this kit will not function with aftermarket front differential covers.
