Description
Front Lift Coil Springs. The BDS 4-Inch Front Lift Coil Springs are engineered to custom-tune your truck’s spring rate and ride height by replacing factory coil springs. They provide essential support to the vehicle’s body and chassis, ensuring consistent suspension performance as wheels and tires react to road variations. This upgrade is vital for maintaining control and ride quality after a 4-inch lift.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high tensile steel with appropriately sized wire diameter, these coil springs are designed for durability and reliability. They feature a polyester-based powder coat finish that enhances flexibility and protects against wear. The springs are preset with hydraulic stress treatment to minimize steel fatigue and sagging, and shot peened for added tensile strength and maximum wheel travel. They are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 steel for long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically requires 1-2 hours. These springs are designed as direct OE replacements for easy integration into your existing suspension system.
Application. Specifically designed for the 2005 to 2027 4WD Ford F-250 Super Duty equipped with 5.4L, 6.2L, 6.8L, and 7.3L gas engines.
