Comprehensive Lift Solution. The BDS 5.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit, including rear heavy duty fabricated lift block and your choice of NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, enhances the stance, offroad capability, and on-road performance of Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD trucks. This kit is engineered to provide clearance for tires up to 33 inches, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for safe and reliable operation at increased ride heights. Note that some inner fender trimming may be required for proper clearance.

Construction and Appearance. Featuring high-clearance, laser-cut 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and heavy-duty skid plates, the kit is built for rugged offroad protection. The steering knuckles are CNC-machined from ductile iron to ensure strength and precise geometry correction. The FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks feature a durable extruded aluminum body with clear anodized finish, paired with heat-treated alloy steel shafts, providing both style and long-lasting durability.

Installation. Installation is classified as difficult and generally takes about eight hours. Some minor welding and inner fender trimming are required; specialty cutting tools and welding equipment are necessary for proper fitment.

Warranty. The kit includes a Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty to cover installation and component reliability.
