Designed specifically for 4WD vehicles with the 6.0L Powerstroke engine, it offers improved reliability and performance over the stock transmission. This transmission is ideal for users seeking increased drivetrain strength and longevity under heavy towing or performance conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Features include a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep pan that increases oil capacity by 6 quarts and an upgraded larger late-model sump filter for superior filtration. Plastic pressure plugs are replaced with aluminum components, and heavy-duty snap rings and pressure regulator valves help prevent pressure-related damage. Each unit is reworked with a specialized front pump and dyno tested for quality assurance.
Installation. Installation typically requires approximately 7 hours and involves no unusual modifications or drilling. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and function. Installation of a BD torque converter is mandatory to maintain the warranty.
Warranty. Backed by a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding coverage for race abuse. Application. Designed specifically for the 2005 to 2007 model years of the 4WD 6.0L Powerstroke F-250 Super Duty, ensuring precise fit and compatibility with these vehicles.
