      Description

      Advanced Transmission Package. The BD Power Torquemaster 6R140 Transmission and Converter Package; $2000 Core Charge Included combines a high-performance transmission and torque converter engineered for enhanced durability and power handling. Designed specifically for heavy towing and high horsepower applications, this matched set has been dyno tested to ensure optimal performance and reliability under demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a billet intermediate shaft and an upgraded tig-welded input shaft to resist OEM weld failures. It includes custom patented pressure plates increasing clutch counts significantly over stock. The torque converter boasts a captured clutch design with billet bearing hub, piston, and clutch retainer, plus a stamp forged one-piece cover and furnace-brazed pump and turbine fins, all designed for superior heat dissipation and durability.

      Installation. Installation requires approximately 12 hours and the use of a Ford scanner to update the Transmission Control Module with the new solenoid code and perform a relearn process, which is critical for proper transmission operation. No drilling or modifications are generally needed, but 2WD setups require transferring the yoke adapter and rear mount bracket.

      Warranty. Includes a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/12,000-mile labor warranty, excluding race abuse.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 17-19 6.7L Powerstroke F-250 Super Duty models. Not compatible with early 2011 trucks equipped with an 8-bolt flex plate without upgrading to a 6-bolt flex plate.
