The BD Power Roadmaster 6R140 Transmission and Converter Package, including a $2000 core charge, is engineered to deliver superior reliability and performance for stock, non-modified trucks. It combines a brand new OEM valve body, a fully remanufactured ProForce torque converter, and a pressure controller to optimize clutch holding power and torque converter efficiency. This package is ideal for those seeking extended transmission life and enhanced towing capabilities while maintaining factory specifications.

      Construction and Appearance. This package features a brand new OEM valve body paired with a BD deep sump pan. The torque converter includes a dual surface clutch assembly, a machined steel reaction ring replacing the flexible factory stamping, and furnace-brazed pump and turbine fins for enhanced durability and long service life. The materials and manufacturing process ensure the package is robust and suitable for heavy-duty applications.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is estimated to take about 12 hours. No drilling is required. A Ford scanner is necessary to update the transmission control module and perform the required solenoid code relearn to ensure optimal transmission operation.

      Warranty. This package is backed by a 24-month parts warranty and a 12-month labor warranty, excluding damage from race abuse.

      Application. Designed specifically for 2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke F-250 Super Duty trucks, this package supports both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Early 2011 models require a 6 bolt flexplate due to build date variations.
