Description
Enhanced Transmission Performance. The BD Power Stage 4 Transmission and Converter Package is engineered to deliver superior power handling and reliability for heavy-duty applications. This matched transmission and torque converter set is ideal for towing and street use, ensuring your diesel engine's torque demands are met efficiently.
Construction and Appearance. The transmission features custom BD patented pressure plates that enable increased clutch count without compromising strength. The torque converter includes a dual surface clutch assembly, a machined steel reaction ring replacing the factory stamping, and furnace-brazed pump and turbine fins. The entire assembly is fully remanufactured and thoroughly tested to ensure long service life. The package also includes a heavy-duty transmission pan for enhanced fluid capacity.
Installation. Installing this package requires approximately 12 hours and involves using a Ford Scanner to update the Transmission Control Module with new solenoid codes and to initiate a relearn process. No drilling is necessary, but transferring specific components, such as the yoke adapter and rear mount bracket, is required for 2WD models.
Warranty. This product includes a 36-month/150,000-mile warranty on parts and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty.
Application. This package fits 2017 to 2019 4WD 6.7L Powerstroke F-250 Super Duty models and is compatible with both 2WD and 4WD applications, noting the need to transfer certain components for 2WD installations.
