Description
Power and Performance Gains. See real world horsepower and torque gains at the rear wheels of your EcoBoost F-150 by upgrading to a BBK Throttle Body. The stock throttle body has a restrictive 70mm bore where the BBK Throttle Body features a slightly larger, free flowing 73mm bore allowing for better airflow and more power. You will not only see an improvement in power, but you will also experience an improvement in throttle response as well. You will see up to a 8-15 horsepower increase depending on boost and tuning.
Tuning. BBK engineered their throttle bodies to work in most cases with the factory tune. However, depending on your other performance modifications and ECM sensitivity a tune is sometime needed for proper operation. Even though a re-tune is not normally required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Throttle Body.
Quality Construction. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this BBK Throttle Body is fully CNC machined from high quality solid billet aluminum. It is then assembled with brand new components that are engineered to meet and exceed OEM quality standards for a perfect fit. This Throttle Body features a durable, black anodized finish with CNC machined BBK logo for impressive good looks.
Simple Bolt-On Installation. BBK engineered their Throttle Body to be a simple bolt-on upgrade. Featuring brand new pre-installed electronics there is no additional modifications or wiring required. Installation can be completed in under an hour with simple hand tools.
BBK Warranty. BBK products are warrantied against any defect in materials or craftsmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Some exclusions or limitations may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.
CARB Certified. This BBK 73mm Throttle Body is CARB certified, therefore it is legal for use in California and any other state adopting California emission standards. CARB EO Number D-245-25.
